🚔 Massive security deployment as a crucial meeting with Imran Khan is set for today at 2 PM.

Today marks an important development in Pakistan’s political landscape as a meeting with the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, is expected to take place at Adiala Jail. According to official sources, PTI has submitted a list of six individuals to jail authorities who are scheduled to meet him today.

Due to the sensitivity of the meeting, extraordinary security arrangements have been put in place in and around Adiala Jail. Police personnel have been deployed at all major entry and exit points, while police pickets have been established at Factory Naka, Dehgal, and Gorakhpur. The entire security operation is being supervised by the SP and ASP Saddar, ensuring strict law and order enforcement.

Police sources confirm that 642 police officers are currently performing security duties across different locations. On Adiala Road, each picket has 50 to 60 police personnel, including female officers, indicating a high-alert situation. Additional police deployment has been reported across Rawalpindi city, including Committee Chowk, Liaquat Bagh, M-1 and M-2 Toll Plazas, GPO Chowk, Flashman Hotel, Chungi No. 22, Gulshan Abad Chowk, Thallian, and Chakri Interchange.

Meanwhile, another significant update has emerged from Islamabad regarding Imran Khan’s health. Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has confirmed that Imran Khan was taken to PIMS Hospital for a medical examination, primarily focusing on eye-related health concerns. Eye specialists initially examined him at Adiala Jail and later recommended further evaluation at PIMS.

Earlier, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital also expressed concern over reports suggesting a possible serious eye condition. Although the hospital stated it could not independently verify these claims, it requested immediate access for its medical team to assist in treatment and address public concern.
