This video was originally filmed as a Shrine Tour for Year 6 student leaders, hence why its much more simple and straight forward.

The video explores the idea of a SHRINE: Think of shrines as special places set apart where God's grace shines brightly (Catechism #1674). Just as Jesus used physical touch to heal (John 9:6-7), shrines help us physically connect with Christ and His saints.

It centres on the RELIC OF ST JOHN VIANNEY: the humble parish priest who transformed an entire town through holiness and the sacrament of Confession. Relics, like the tiny fragment of bone you'll see in this video, help remind us of the saint’s holiness and inspire us to deeper faith (Catechism #828). And St John Vianney teaches us something critical: the Church doesn't just need smart people, it needs holy ones.

The video is a reminder of the beauty and power of Confession, Eucharistic adoration, and why visiting holy places matters in our faith journey. Scripture reminds us that God's mercy is endless (Psalm 136:1), a mercy we can encounter powerfully here in this Jubilee Year of Hope.
