A few words from the director:

"Life Is Up To You" is a song of parting and a kind of love-testament from the band's lead singer Bjarke Porsmose. The song intimidates with references to abandonment, loss and decay but it also contains a redeeming sense of optimism towards the future. 4 Guys From The Future relies on a perception of the future as being something to be carried out immediately, and that our choices and life's randomness creates that future.

The intention with the video was to capture a present which seconds ago was past and encapsulate it for future preservation. This was achieved by filming the video in one take from start to finish, no 2nd takes was made, thus embracing the naturally occurring mistakes which gives a sense of being present at the video shoot on this very early and cold Tuesday morning. The desire was to create intimacy as opposed to distance, present instead of past and reality as opposed to manipulation which is all underlying philosophies behind the activities of 4 Guys From The Future"
