Now that the Spark is finally hitting the streets (air...) the question of "how fast can it go during activetrack" has come up. Well, I went out and tested to find out! Unfortunately I didn't have a ton of room, although it looks like it haha. There were busy streets on both sides, and powerlines to look out for. For this test, I used "profile" which keeps the Spark in the same position as when you start recording, so in this case it "flew next to me" while keeping me centered in the frame. I started off slower, but eventually worked my way up faster and faster. I must say that I was really surprised at how well the Spark did, it never lost my SUV even when driving behind trees, and it kept up rather well.
My next test will be to see how far you can get away from the Spark before it just gives up, but for this test I never had that issue once!
Another thing that impressed me was how smooth everything was, after hitting "track" I did not need to touch the controls at all, which really shows just how far this tech has come.
