Memorizing scripture texts can be intimidating a bit, but I don't have problems learning scripture verses any more because I now apply helpful methods to make memorizing easier. And the easiest way for me to retain information is to listen as I work or walk, do household and yard work, or just relax and watch along with the videos. I can put the video on a continuous loop, or come back to it when I have more time to focus. Try this method out and see if it doesn't work for you. Please let me know in the comments of any scripture passages that you would like me to prepare a video for. I am definitely interested in preparing material for Bible Bees, Homeschool students, shut-ins, and for a myriad of other reasons.
