Epictetus is one of my favorite stoic philosophers. A Greek philosopher who was a Roman slave under the rule of Nero his life was a series of craziness. From his wit to his straightforwardness, I enjoy reading his works immensely. From his humble beginnings as a slave just trying to survive to his influence on emperors and generals, Epictetus has earned his place in history. I truly hope you enjoy this book on Epictetus's Golden Sayings as much as I did. Enjoy the 7 episodes in this Harvard Classics series.
