NEW Friendly’s Right Outside Disney World | Nostalgic Review on Vineland Avenue

During the midst of the Great Depression, two brothers opened an Ice Cream Shop they affectionately called Friendly. Their goal was to create a comforting atmosphere to complement the comfort food they served. Nearly a century later this restaurant, now called Friendly’s, evolved into a nostalgic staple of a classic millennial childhood on Long Island, NY.

As former New Yorkers living in Florida, we felt inclined to stop by Friendly’s brand new location right outside Walt Disney World to see if the cuisine here is as comforting as we remember. This new location is near the well-known Vineland outlets and adjacent to Disney Springs. We can confirm that mini mozzarella sticks are back!
