Nationally recognized industry authority and thought leader Randy Bean discussed how he came to publish his first book, "Fail Fast, Learn Faster: Lessons in Data-Driven Leadership in an Age of Disruption, Big Data, and AI," which comes out in August 2021. Randy writes and speaks extensively on data-driven organizations and data-driven business cultures and is known for his frequent writings in the Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Forbes, and The Wall Street Journal, where he wrote a monthly column on Big Data for two years. He is founder and chief executive of NewVantage Partners, a strategic advisory firm which he founded in 2001, and whose clients include a blue-chip roster of Fortune 1000 companies and industry leaders in global financial services, healthcare, life sciences, and media companies. Randy resides in Stonington Borough and Boston with his wife Beth Black. He is a co-chair of the James Merrill House in Stonington, CT.
