A cool tune by Boz Skaggs released in 1976. Laying down the drums was the great Jeff Porcaro. He has such a great feel with his shuffle and ghost notes on so many of his recordings. On this song, I start out playing a shuffle beat on the hats, with some ghost notes for the first few verses then I go to quarter notes for the remainder...at least that's what I hear in the song. I may be wrong in what I'm hearing, as others cover this song by playing the shuffle beat on the hats throughout which works as well. So much of Jeff's playing is about his feel....which to me he was one of the best at this.
