FIMD FEDERAZIONE ITALIANA METAL DETECTING APS
La FIMD nasce nel luglio del 2017, quale evoluzione del Metal Detector Club Italia.
Anche un cerca metalli è una radio, un ricetrasmettitore particolare che basa il principio di funzionamento su onde radio trasmesse e ricevute: l’”antenna” viene orientata solitamente verso il suolo e se si è in presenza di corpi metallici nascosti sotto il terreno, viene modificato il segnale radio ricevuto. Quella che a prima vista può sembrare un’attività di nicchia riservata a pochi specialisti, si conferma invece un hobby entusiasmante, in grado di sviluppare competenze variegate ad iniziare dalle conoscenze di radiotecnica. Per queste ragioni è stata avviata la collaborazione con la prestigiosa FIMD Federazione Italiana Metal Detecting, associazione APS, che mira ad aggregare i praticanti dell’hobby del metal detecting (detectoristi) con l’obiettivo di diffondere, ed in particolare fra i giovani, la pratica sportiva della ricerca di metalli occultati nel vicino sottosuolo; un nuovo modello di metal detecting: il “Metal Detecting Responsabile”.

FIMD ITALIAN FEDERATION METAL DETECTING APS
FIMD was born in July 2017, as an evolution of the Metal Detector Club Italia.
A metal detector is also a radio, a particular transceiver which bases the operating principle on transmitted and received radio waves: the "antenna" is usually oriented towards the ground and if there are metal bodies hidden under the ground, it is modified the received radio signal. What at first glance may seem like a niche activity reserved for a few specialists, turns out to be an exciting hobby, capable of developing varied skills starting with knowledge of radio engineering. For these reasons, collaboration was started with the prestigious FIMD Italian Metal Detecting Federation, APS association, which aims to bring together practitioners of the metal detecting hobby (detectorists) with the aim of spreading, particularly among young people, the sporting practice of searching for metals hidden in the nearby subsoil; a new model of metal detecting: “Responsible Metal Detecting”.
