SEGA Ages 2500 Monster World Complete Collection - PlayStation 2 - Showcase of all 6 included games

SEGA AGES 2500 Series Vol.29 Monster World Complete Collection is the perfect collection of all Six Wonder Boy / Girl games. It includes Wonder Boy, Wonder Boy in Monster Land, Wonder Boy III Monster Lair, Wonder Boy IV Monster World II The Dragon's Trap, Wonder Boy V Monster World III and Monster World IV. This collection was the stuff of Monster World fan's dreams when it arrived in 2007.

Developed by M2 with support from Westone & Sega, this is the perfect example of how retro collections should be packed with art galleries full of concept art, final art, posters, manuals, flyers even the music notes! It also includes sound tests for each game, arcade Super Play videos, save features, replays and so much more. Each game also comes with the various Sega home versions, but it doesn't include any PC Engine ports or old home computer releases. Asides from some slight issues with the audio in the mega drive / genesis games, largely these ports are pretty much spot on. In Japan this collection was the first release of the Master System versions of Monster World II & III and was the first time the FM music was made available for Monster Lair II.

This video includes a brief intro by our editor Riven and it covers all versions of the various games with a short sample of gameplay from each. The collection includes support for various render modes 240p, 480i & 480p. There is a 480p with scanlines option, but the scanlines look all wrong, we demo it at (51:24) if you want to see it.
