A short video of my 265 cubic inch flathead V8 running today.

My apologies in advance... it definitely no longer sounds like a flathead. 

reasons: 
(1) It does not have Navarro, Edlebrock, Offenhauser, ect. heads... so flow at the roof of the transfer area has not been restricted, nor has the flame front been obstructed. 
(2) It does not use the popular off-the-shelf Ross forged pistons.
(3) It doe not use one of the off-the-shelf camshafts, IE. "1A" , 3/4 , or even the quite good 400JR. 
(4) It does not use one of the more widely accepted 2 or 3 carb manifolds.
(5) It does not use Strombergs from England
(6) It does not use an E Fire distributor ( though it may need one )
(7) It does not use a Power Master starter or alternator. 
(8) It does not use any of the available exhaust "headers".
(9) It does not use store bought center exhaust splitters.
(10) It does not have the intake ports opened as large as possible. 
(11) The exhaust ports, passages, bowls have NOT been ignored. 
(12) Because this is a max effort performance build, the block has NOT BEEN RELIEVED.
(13) Has not been converted to 12 volt.

Heck, I don't even have a tattoo or ball cap !
