What's up everybody? This week, I am getting back into a project video and showing you how I forge a Mark Aspery style Round Punch! This process is demonstrating that outline in hit book "Skills of a Blacksmith: Volume 1" I managed to find the footage for this video buried in my archives from before I moved and I'm glad to be able to provide a comprehensive demonstration of the process for such a valuable tool in the shop!

The round punch is a vital tool in a smithy for creating round holes in stock without the use of a drill. I use mine nearly every time I am in the shop! This tool is also on the list of required tools to make for Level 1 Certification in the California Blacksmithing Association and the Artist Blacksmith Association of North America!
