Here a demonstration video on how to turbine wash an ABB TSP44-F32 Turbocharger. Which is in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Exhaust turbine water washing is performed with its set parameters to be effective and prevent damage. This cleaning procedure involves thermal-shocking to remove carbon deposits and it's only applicable to this kind of turbocharger design.

Set Parameters:
Exhaust Temperature: 400 to 450 degree Celcius
Engine Load: 20% to 40%
Water Pressure: Above 0.2 Mpa
Duration: 3 times - 15-30 seconds (depending on the turbocharger performance)
