Lanzarote - Rancho Texas - Feb 2022

During our stay in Lanzarote we took a visit to Rancho Texas which is just outside Puerto Del Carmen. We took so much footage while we were there that it has taken a long time to edit it down to under half an hour so apologies for this being posted so late.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Rancho Texas but wouldn’t advise booking the coach there through the tour company. It was absolutely packed with children sat on parents laps to make room and people being turned away at the coach stops. Probably better to either hire a car or get a taxi or bus there.
We also found some of the park hard going with wheelchairs. Obviously where it is steep and hilly it gets hard to push a chair and sometimes we found ourselves coming backwards down hills for safety. Unfortunately some of the paving puts aesthetics before practicality and the wheels of the chairs often got stuck in the gaps. The park do make provision for wheelchairs at the exhibits such as viewing the Dolphins and Sea Lions though, so it is somewhat of a mixed bag. Overall we were able to manage but those less able may wish to avoid the hillier areas of the park.
