The Guildhall Art Gallery has a collection of paintings that tell the history of the city, and the remains of London's Roman amphitheatre in the basement.

The highlight of a visit to the Guildhall Art Gallery is the Roman amphitheatre downstairs, where you can see part of the entranceway and the start of the circle where the gladiators fought each other.

This video shows you the outside of the Guildhall, then goes inside the gallery to see the paintings, and then down into the basement to see the archaeological remains of Roman Londinium.
