◆Otsu Port
Otsu Port is a port located in Shiga Prefecture and is a regional port designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. It faces Lake Biwa at an altitude of 84m. The location is Hamaotsu in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. Also called Hamaotsu Port.
It once prospered as a base for water transportation on Lake Biwa. After the sun became sloping due to the development of the railway network, it has become a base for pleasure boats, as well as a base for each ship operated by government agencies. It is also used for versatile leisure activities such as the marina and the green space maintained as a park.

The facilities are managed by Shiga Prefecture, but Lake Biwa Kisen [1] is the designated manager for port facilities, and Seirei Kosan [2] is the designated manager for the marina.

◆大津港
大津港（おおつこう）は、滋賀県にある港で、国土交通省指定地方港湾である。湖面標高84mの琵琶湖に面する。所在地は滋賀県大津市の浜大津。浜大津港とも称する。
かつては琵琶湖湖上水運の拠点として栄えた。鉄道網の整備に伴い斜陽となった後は、遊覧船の発着拠点となっているほか、官公庁などが運航する各船の拠点にもなっている。また、併設のマリーナや公園として整備された緑地など、多用途のレジャーに利用されている。

施設は滋賀県が管理しているが、港湾施設などは琵琶湖汽船が[1]、マリーナはセイレイ興産[2]が指定管理者となっている。
