Tracking Pucks Properly - Ice Hockey Goalies | Dahan Goaltending (Episode #3)

Описание к видео Tracking Pucks Properly - Ice Hockey Goalies | Dahan Goaltending (Episode #3)

A Vlog with Nick Dahan during his semi-private program in Guelph starring aspiring pro goaltender Sal Stalteri, PWHL Toronto Aeros goalie and two AAA ice hockey goalies. Focusing on chin alignment, tracking pucks in and out and playing through screens. As always we require our goalies to play all rebounds and battle out of a poor save.

3 key teaching moments:
- Warm-up your eyes by exaggerating them - see 00:50
- Keep your blocker off your hip and get your chin to face the puck directly - see 03:27 and 04:43
- Lean into your saves when sliding, avoid extending and creating holes - see 07:15

If you have any questions about goalie training or what you can do to improve your game, let me know in the comments.

We will be posting regularly. Subscribe and join us on a fun and educational journey about on and off-ice goalie development. Thank you for watching.
