American University is known to be the most politically active university in the United States. It is also known to be a very liberal institution.

6,000 students from all across the world come to AU to study from the best professors and from one of the best schools in international studies in the US -- AU's School of International Service.

Every year in september, Student Activities holds a Student Involvement fair where over 200 student-led organizations can table and promote their club. Libertarians are hard to find and hard to represent at American with multiple socialist, marxist, liberal, and collectivist organizations on campus -- but AU's Young Americans for Liberty is trying to defeat the odds.
