Three men - Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wolfowitz - were the architects of the disasterous US invasion of Iraq and helped sell it to the American people.

But despite the excuse of Weapons of Mass Destruction and toppling the Saddam regime, the plan to go to war and reshape the entire region was in their blueprints since the early 90s, when all three were part of a think tank called The Project For A New American Century.

The DC think tank was waiting for a Pearl Harbour-like event in which US assets were targetted in order to reshape US foreign policy and seize control of the Middle East, topple its regimes and install puppet governments friendlier to the US, and to Israel.

When the attacks of September 11 happened, these same three men saw an opportunity.
