Описание к видео The Doctor Raised In US Saving Singapore Patients, Kidney By Kidney | Singaporean At Heart - Pt 2/4

Professor A Vathsala, who moved to Singapore from the US, found herself working in nephrology and kidney transplantation at the Singapore General Hospital in the 1980s when 1 in 2 transplant patients died from kidney rejection.

As the co-director of the National University Centre for Organ Transplantation (NUCOT) today, she continues to strive to add years to the lives of patients.
