In Java, flatMap() is an intermediate stream operation that returns a new stream consisting of the results of replacing each element of the given stream with the contents of a mapped stream produced by applying the provided mapping function to each element.
The flatMap() method is similar to the map() method, but while map() only applies a function to each element of the stream, flatMap() applies a function to each element and then flattens the resulting stream. This means that if the mapped stream contains multiple elements, they will be flattened into a single stream.
The flatMap() method is often used when you need to deal with nested streams.
