[EngSub] 🇲🇲 A Pleasant Day in Slow Town | ကျောက်ပန်းတောင်းမှ နှစ်ကျပ်ခွဲရွာ

Today afternoon we visited to Htitawhlote Pagoda in HnitKyatkhwe Village, Mingalar Pagoda and Shin Arahan's Footprint in Kyaukpadaung. Plus, we also tasted the local food called Motepyartalat (Rice pancake).

Actually, the name HnitKyatKhwe is strange to me. It means 2.5 Kyattha (Kyattha is Burmese weight measurement unit). According to legend, King Alaungsithu arrived to this place while he traveling extensively throughout his realm. And the king and his fellow servents took a rest here. Then they dug a lake for drinking water. Just digging 2.5 Kyattha of mud, they found the groundwater. That is the reason why this village is called HnitKyatKhwe Village.
