慶長5年9月15日（西暦1600年10月21日）、美濃国（岐阜県）関ケ原において、天下を二分する「関ケ原の戦い」が行われました。
その戦いから420年後のまさにその日、その場所に、岐阜関ケ原古戦場記念館がオープンしました。
大迫力のシアターや、合戦ゆかりの様々な史料に加え、360度ガラス張りの展望室からは参戦武将の陣跡を一望することができます。
歴史に詳しい方もそうでない方も、皆それぞれの楽しみ方ができる体験型ミュージアムです。ぜひお越しください！

On October 21st 1600 (September 15th, Year 5 of the Keicho Period in the Japanese calendar), a great battle which seemed to tear heaven and earth took place in the land of Mino (modern day Gifu Prefecture); the Battle of Sekigahara.
Exactly 420 years after the battle, the Gifu Sekigahara Battlefield Memorial Museum was opened on that site.
In addition to a visceral theatre experience and various items relating to the battle, the 360 degree panoramic viewing floor offers comprehensive views of the battlefield.
The museum is experience-based and offers fun for everybody, regardless of whether they are an expert on history or a beginner. Please give us a visit!
