It would be something of an understatement to say this year has got off to an unusual start, but some things remain reliable and stable - album releases, and our monthly polls being one of them…even though it’s taken us a little while to bring it, here is the run-down of the top 10 albums of January.

In fact, there are 12 albums here, as five releases tied at 8th place. All highly worthy of a space in the top ten, and the first time we have had to do this with one of these videos. It’s also been a good exercise going back over January’s albums to put this together in March. Probably a good thing to realise that all these releases – every single one, no exceptions - are still getting solid rotation on our turntables (actual and metaphorical).
