On February 19, 2016, In Houston Texas, Dada "Dhafir Harris" 5000 would take on Kimbo "Kevin Ferguson" Slice at Bellator 149 in one of the worst MMA fights the world has ever witnessed. The fight almost resulted in the first MMA in octagon death as Dada 5000 suffered a Heart attack as he gassed himself out trying to compete in this contest. Unfortunately, the KO win for Kimbo was overturned by the Texas state athletic commission, when Kimbo tested positive for nandrolone and a elevated T/E ratio. Sadly, He would die 4 months later on June 6, 2016, at the age of 42. Kimbo was rumored to make another return to the octagon under the Bellator promotion before his untimely death.
