The second demo we're looking at on PC Gamer Magazine's Disc #8 is another Apogee / 3D Realms shareware classic - Terminal Velocity! The game was developed by Terminal Reality, a small studio lead by a former Microsoft Flight Simulator engineer. Terminal Reality would later be contracted to rework the game for said software giant's forthcoming Windows 95 operating system. That port, known as Fury3, may be more familiar to some, but this was our first introduction to its texture-mapped, outdoor shooting action.
