Sustainability Strategy: Backcasting from Success

In this whiteboard animation, I present backcasting: a different kind of thinking that can help us solve our sustainability problems. As opposed to forecasting, backcasting suggests thinking from a successful future and asking the questions "What did I do to get there?"

This builds on the work of Dr Karl-Henrik Robèrt and The Natural Step. It is part of the Framework for Strategic Development (FSDD) developed by The Natural Step.
