Born in New Jersey and raised in Florida, Kandy has made an indelible mark in the art world with her powerful multi-media works that explore identity and elevate marginalized voices.

Kandy's artistic journey began at the University of South Florida, where she earned a BFA in Painting and a BS in Marketing and Management. She further refined her craft with an MFA in Painting from Florida Atlantic University in 2014. Her impressive teaching career has included roles at Florida Atlantic University and Daytona State College, and she now inspires the next generation as an Associate Professor at NOVA Southeastern University.
