So currently the biggest competitor to the Tecnifibre range of strings would be Ashaway, and there’s a very good reason why. Ashaway not only match the Tecnifibre range when it comes to performance, durability and feel, but they have a wider variety of strings, which cater for almost any type of player. So much so, that I have only tried 3 strings from their range of 12 strings.
What I like about them is the information that they provide on each string.

I will leave a link below to their webpage that gives you complete specs of each string, which shows the thickness, durability and feel ratings, materials of construction as well as special features. I think any other brand trying to compete with Ashaway would do well to follow suit because gone are the days when people try out strings by trial and error.
