i live in a good spot to use one of these and really wanted a longshaft mud motor so when i got some time i decided to build one. i looked at lots of pictures, there wasent many videos to watch. it turned out really good except for the the motor is really heavy. i have it on a 10 foot long flat bottom boat, and it feels like it needs to be atleast a 12footer. if you have any questions feel free to ask ill answer them the best i can. thanks for watching hope it helps someone out.
