WNET’s Inclusion and Diversity Council welcomed three theater professionals to our offices to discuss diversity in theater and media: Hamilton‘s Mandy Gonzalez; Alexandria Wailes, actor and associate choreographer in Deaf West’s recent production of Spring Awakening ; and costume designer Emilio Sosa. The event was hosted by PBS NewsHour Weekend’s Alison Stewart. The panel addressed telling diverse stories in the theater and how public media can contribute to the conversation.
