INCIDENT AND APPREHENSION
On January 13, 2025, SI Vikash Fageria, In-Charge of PP Subhash Nagar, along with SI Ashwini Dagar, HC Harbeer, HC Lokesh, and Ct Rajat, were on patrolling duty in the PP-Subhash Nagar area under the supervision of Insp M.S. Kamal, SHO/Rajouri Garden and Ms Niraj Tokas, ACP/Rajouri Garden. While checking near Shedley Public School in Subhash Nagar, they noticed a Santro car in suspicious circumstances and stopped it for inspection.

During the checking, a person identified as Lalit Kumar, S/o Yogender Singh, R/o Village Kushalgarhi, Taliv Nagar, Tehsil-Koil, Distt-Aligarh, UP, age 25 years, claimed to be a Sub-Inspector with the CBI and showed a photo of a CBI ID card on his mobile phone. However, the ID card appeared suspicious.

Upon inquiry with the CBI office at Lodhi Colony CGO Complex in Delhi, it was found that the ID card shown by Lalit Kumar was fake and forged. Consequently, a case was registered at PS Rajouri Garden under sections 204/205/340(2) BNS, and an investigation was initiated. Lalit Kumar was arrested, and his mobile phone, containing photographs of the fake CBI ID card, a roll board with his name, and a promotion list with his name, was seized. The investigation is ongoing.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON
👉🏼 Lalit Kumar, S/o Yogender Singh, R/o Village Kushalgarhi, Taliv Nagar, Tehsil-Koil, Distt-Aligarh, UP, age 25 years. He lives with his family at this address. His father works as a lineman in Aligarh, while his mother is a homemaker. Lalit has two younger brothers who are pursuing diplomas in electrical engineering from Aligarh. He is a graduate and is currently preparing for the CGL examination.
