Marine-ecosystem future-forecasting technology, aims to help us conserve biodiversity, and explain the mechanisms behind biological and chemical phenomena in the ocean, such as material cycles and marine-organism ecology.
We aim to observe biochemical variables, including nutrient and organism concentration, as well as environmental DNA, in conjunction with physical quantities such as seawater temperature and current speed over a wide area in real time.

NTT Space Environment and Energy Laboratories have one of our research fields on Kumejima Island, in Okinawa Prefecture.
This video introduces an oceanographic experiment for establish marine-ecosystem future-forecasting technology, focusing on the aquaculture of sea lettuce and tiger prawns.
We aim to contribute to the coexistence of human society and marine ecosystems by utilizing the data obtained from this experiment to enable future forecasting of marine ecosystems impacted by aquaculture as a human activity.
Our goal is to accurately forecast the future of the global environment and realize a society in which we ourselves can adapt to it in a preemptive manner.
