4K Beach & Town Tour of La Cala De Mijas, Malaga, Spain in April 2022

Welcome to this town walking tour of La Cala de Mijas, Malaga Spain.

The town looks so much more lively now, in April, compared to February, when I visited it last time.

La Cala de Mijas is considered to be one of the original fishing villages, that can be found on the Costa del Sol, in the province of Malaga. it really is a village full of charm which offers its visitors a restored Moorish tower, a friendly village atmosphere, and great beaches.

It can be found between the towns of Fuengirola and Marbella, close to the popular urbanization of Calahonda. A very popular town where you can find a lot of good restaurants, as well as shops, pharmacies and beach-front bars. it is only a 20-minute drive to La Cala from Malaga International Airport.

The town offers a nice easy paced life, not taken over completely by tourism, but with good facilities, a lovely golden sand beach, and close to larger towns offering more action.

On our town tour, we visit the city center - Boulevard de la Cala, where the best restaurants can be found, such as El Gusto or el Cortijillo. We actually start on the beach, playa La Cala, and then we head towards the symbol of la Cala - Torre de la Bateria de Cala del Moral. After that, we go into town, only to end the walk on the beach again.
