Queen Mary Breaks Record (1966)

Southampton Dock, Hampshire.



Various shots show the ocean liner Queen Mary coming into dock; in the dry dock she has her hull and propellors scraped and cleaned of barnacles, seaweed and mussels. All this happens in less than 48 hours, as the ship has to return to New York; hence the record breaking title of this story.
