A favourite pastime of mine in the late 80's was to get to the footy early to watch the Reserves play and switch on the radio to 3LO to listen to the banter of the Coodabeen Champions.
Through Greg Champion and others they reworked famous songs to a football theme and played a track each week.
This track comes from the 1986 audio tape "In The Outer With The Coodabeen Champions".
It is set to the music of Bruce Springsteen's My Home Town
I have added some unrelated video footage of a 1989 Footscray v Collingwood match.
