What will my next bike be? - ST1300 or FJR1300 - New Zealand

I am torn between some choices on what to go for next time round, by way of what motorcycle to go for. I enjoy long distance touring… Loading the bike up and heading off on an adventure. The choices for me come down to an FJR1300 and an ST1300… All of the reviews I have watched on YouTube lean towards the FJR… It is newer and has modern upgrades that make it the preferred Long Distance Sport Tourer… I get that. There are aspects of the ST1300 that appeal to me more though. It has a longer fuel capacity range, it is heavier so will be more planted on the road. Reviews have dubbed it the luxury two-up long distance tourer. The FJR is the more popular, modern and updated Sport Tourer.
The ST1300 has had little to no updates since 2002. The styling is dated and the Instrument Panel being antilog only is very dated looking. However, the bike is a little wider than the FJR, the centre of gravity is lower in the saddle, the fuel capacity is larger and is considered the best choice for two-up long distance touring… I have looked at a lot of reviews on both bikers, and understand the new advancements on the FJR and am aware of the aspects of the ST that are considered dated… But I am torn on which way to go… What are your thoughts?
