Kochi: The Enforcement has acted upon controversial businessman VM Radhakrishnan and has attached Rs 23 crore worth of assets belonging to him. These assets were earned by Radhakrishnan during the period 2004-2008. The enforcement raid is in connection with corruption in Malabar Cements. It was during that period, large-scale corruption took place in the company. Radhakrishnan had faced several corruption charges in awarding contracts during this period. Assets in Kozhikode, Palakkad and Wayanad were attached by the Enforcement Directorate.
