Forming Raised Beds in the Upper Garden with BCS 853, Rotary Plow, and Rear-tine Tiller

Описание к видео Forming Raised Beds in the Upper Garden with BCS 853, Rotary Plow, and Rear-tine Tiller

In this video I show the process I used to form our raised beds in our "Upper Garden".
First, I tilled in our buckwheat cover crop. Second, I used the rotary plow to make raised beds. Then I fertilized and used the rear-tine tiller to incorporate it and flatten the beds. Finally, we started planted but the camera ran out of juice. Our garden this year will consist of mostly heirloom root crops including:
Asparagus, corn, onions, garlic, more onions, carrots, parsnips, rutabagas, turnips, beans, more corn, pumpkins, watermelons, cucumbers, and acorn squash. We'll find some space to shoehorn in tomatoes, potatoes, and peppers.
