In November 2019 author Margaret Atwood and journalist Ash Sarkar spoke to students at Pendleton College in Salford, Greater Manchester, about the legacy of The Handmaid’s Tale and her new book The Testaments. They also spoke about activism and protest throughout history and how this has inspired, and been inspired by, Margaret’s writing.
