'디지털경제동반자협정' 가입협상 타결 한국 '1호 가입국'

South Korea has agreed to join the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement to expand its digital trade network.
According to the trade ministry on Friday, South Korea will join founding countries --Chile, New Zealand and Singapore to make a 4-member bloc.
Negotiations over Seoul’s took place with the original members in Paris on the sidelines of the OECD Ministerial Council meeting.
It’s the world’s first multinational digital pact that establishes new approaches and collaborations in digital trade issues.
Under the agreement, South Korea expects to bolster e-commerce-based exports and expand digital content and services overseas.
The government says it plans to finalize membership this year.
