China's Unknown Muslim Minority: The Salar People of Xunhua

When driving through China, one of our longest stops were Xunhua in Qinghai province. It’s a place with several minority groups, the biggest being Tibetans and Salar muslims. In this video we are focusing in he Salar people, their histoy, and their languages. We also visit an old Salar village and their 600 year old mosque.
