Christchurch Gondola Challenge: Windy Hike to the Summit (But Worth the Views!) ️

Today we're taking on the challenge of hiking up to the Christchurch Gondola base station – on one of the windiest days ever! ️

This walk is a great option for those who want to experience the beautiful Port Hills without taking the gondola itself (and it's dog-friendly too!). But let me tell you, this wind is NO JOKE! Prepare for some epic hair-whipping and maybe needing to hold onto your hats for dear life.

Despite the crazy wind, the views from the track are absolutely stunning. We'll be showing you glimpses of the city, the Southern Alps in the distance (weather permitting!), and of course, the epic panorama from the Gondola base station itself.

*Bonus points!* We'll also let you know where the toilets are located near the Gondola base station, because let's be real, sometimes nature calls even on a windy hike.
