This video shows how to take limited data from an existing 80/20 aluminum extrusion frame image and determining what the components are, calculate sizes, and find and download the SolidWorks CAD files from the 80/20 website and re-construct the frame as an assembly in SolidWorks. This was an example I created to give students extra tools on how to research and build CADD projects from online web sources. You can check out the 80/20 CAD files from their website at https://8020.net/tools-cad . You can actually import their entire SolidWorks parts CAD library into 3D Content Central in SolidWorks.
