First Steps Science: Leaf Lab

It’s time for fall leaf magic! Do an experiment and find out where all those fall leaf colors come from. Mix up science and art by painting with chlorophyll. You are going to have a green thumb!

Supplies to gather up ahead of time:
Fall leaves, ( as many colors as you can find)
Coffee filters
White paper
Rubbing alcohol
3 to 4 clear unbreakable containers (plastic cups)
