Hazrat Junayd al-Baghdadi (RA) was born in 830 CE in Baghdad, Iraq. He belonged to a family of weavers. From a young age, Junayd was drawn to spirituality and the pursuit of knowledge. He studied Islamic jurisprudence, theology, and philosophy, eventually becoming a respected scholar.

However, Junayd's spiritual quest led him to abandon his worldly life and focus on the inner dimension of faith. He became a disciple of Hazrat Sirri Saqti (RA), a prominent Sufi master.

Under Sirri Saqti's guidance, Junayd underwent intense spiritual training, which included ascetic practices, meditation, and the recitation of the Quran. He eventually attained a high level of spiritual realization and became known for his wisdom, compassion, and spiritual insight.

Hazrat Junayd al-Baghdadi (RA) passed away in 910 CE, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most important Sufi saints in Islamic history. His teachings emphasized the importance of love, compassion, and self-purification on the spiritual path.
