So grateful my infertility story is being told around the world! Infertility can be an incredibly lonely journey. I suffered alone for 10 years. No one truly knew the pain and empty heart I carried around because I forced a smile on my face. I was overcome with guilt, shame, brokenness, jealousy, and great sadness. I felt like the only woman on earth who was infertile. Because infertility isn’t spoken about... At all. But why? When 1/4 women are struggling to get pregnant or 1/8 couples. Why is this not national news? Why don't most insurance cover treatments? Why is there very little funding for research? Why are there hardly any support groups for infertile people? You can find a million support and recourses for drug addictions and cancer patients. But when it comes to infertility we are shunned and kept in the dark. I knew things needed to change after nearly dying twice from a triple-ruptured ectopic pregnancy.
