Now usually I run Dungeon Keeper but since I have a taste for some nostalgia I decided to run the cult classic Seven Kingdoms (which is available for legal download here https://7kfans.com/).

This is the first map of the scenarios in the Ancient Adversaries expansion/patch which was released after the original game but also replaced retail of the original game. The map in itself is quite simple, the goal is to reach 100 population as quick as possible.

The run went really well. Since there is no community yet speedrunning this game, the rules in how to measure time are not yet created, so for now, I'll go with the in-game day-count. This comes with the drawback that you in theory get a TAS-bot function would you lower the game speed to almost nothing. This can maybe be a category regardless. As the goal is to get to 100 pop as quickly as possible, there are several ways of doing this. Either you bribe a town and put them to work in order to slowly capture them, or you conquer a town by attacking it. When you do, however, some of the population die, even though it might be a quicker way.
