Assalam Alikum,
My name is Atiq Ali. I belong to district Kech (Turbat). I am studying at the Institute of Business Administration Karachi (IBA Karachi) on a 100% Scholarship provided by National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP). Today I am here to brief you guys about this scholarship. National Talent Hunt Program is a program that provides scholarship to Undergrad students. NTHP scholarship covers the tuition fee of every semester for all 4 years. Apart from that when a student gets enrolled in IBA through NTHP, then they are provided hostels for free, they will be provided free meals. And after all these, every student is provided Rs. 4,000 per month as a stipend. Almost every expense of students will be covered here.

Many students (especially in rural areas), students have thought that they do not want to bring a financial burden on their parents with their parents. They do not want their parents to be a worry about their children's higher education, then this is the best opportunity for those students. Because after coming here with the scholarship of NTHP, I say the expenses on education are equal to nothing; and even that student can support his/her family as well. I give the example of myself. I got enrolled in IBA in 2017. And in 2019, I started a part-time job as well in my university. And with this a supporting my family as bit as well. This means IBA provides opportunities to its students to do a part-time job as well if any students want to do it.

Another big issue, especially for females students in rural Baluchistan is the accommodation. Parents mostly worry about the accommodation of their daughters, that will they be safe there, will they be facilitated there, etc. So, I just want to mention that IBA has separate girls hostels in a very secure place and they are provided many facilities there. The same facilities in hostels that are provided to boys, same are provided to girls.

Since NTHP is a Nation level program. Where students from all over Pakistan come. If I talk about my own batch, then there are students from Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, KPK, Punjab, Sindh, and Baluchistan. The one plus point here is that when a student comes here, then he can interact with students of different cultures. You can show your own culture to others as well.
When I first joined IBA, my speaking and communication skills were very weak. But now I can see improvement in my communications skills.

The most frequent questions asked by my students are that what is the procedure and the eligibility criteria. So, the applications of the Nation Talent Hunt Program are continued. Any student who has applied well and good and those who have not applied then please do apply. If any student faces any problem during fill the form, then there are separate videos on the YouTube channel for the procedure of filling the form and videos on eligibility criteria; everything is explained there.
